課程目標
Heat transfer is a subject concerning the transport of energy induced by temperature difference. Heat transfer occurs in various natural and engineered systems in three modes: conduction, convection, and radiation. This course introduces the principles and basic analyses of these modes. Analytical solutions and numerical methods for various heat transfer examples will be discussed. Practical engineering problems with multi-directional and multi-mode heat transfer will be elucidated. Microscale heat transfer will also be discussed. The goal is to develop deductive reasoning skills of students in performing effective analyses for practical engineering purposes. 
課程要求
Students are expected to preview and review the assigned textbook along with the progress of the course. Homeworks are due one week after they are given. Students should honor themselves and any kind of cheating is not allowed.
